Project: Lock and Dam 9 Quantity: 1200 bags The application consisted of repairing the vertical joint nosings along the entire length of the half-mile lock system, using the form-and-pour method. The engineer required a polymer-modified repair mortar – this requirement was met with MEADOW-PATCH T2. The application included extending the repair mortar at 50% by weight with 3/8” minus river bed rock and some ¾” fibers. |

Originally built in 1956, Hotel Valley Ho, with its inviting pool courtyard, became a hotspot for celebrities of the era, hosting Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis; vacationing Jimmy Durante, playing the lobby piano; Zsa Zsa Gabor, filming in the area; Natalie Wood & Robert Wagner's private wedding reception; plus Bing Crosby, Marilyn Monroe, Ted Williams, Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Betty Grable. Renovations began in 2004, honoring the hotel's original mid-century spirit. Hotel Valley Ho re-opened in December 2005. |
